I am Silke Britzen, staff astronomer at the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy.

Supermassive black holes and especially pairs of them – the binaries – are my research favorites.

We try to find them by employing a technique which provides the highest resolution in Astronomy: Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI).
